We believe that the family is the main building block of society.
Families have changed a great deal since I was growing up in the 50s and 60s. Then divorce and single parent families were rare, at least they were rare to my knowledge. Now they are common.
Today it is harder to raise children. The mine fields that can hurt or destroy youth have grown in number and diversity.
There are more social and governmental forces putting pressure on the traditional family unit.
My intention with this blog is to provide a platform where these, and many other issues relating to families can be discussed, with ideas and solutions being shared freely.
